My 240v charger/cord does not get any warmer when charging than the 110v unit does, so a faster charge would have less energy loss, at least that is my theory.Buy Lectron 240V 32 Amp Level 2 Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Station with 20ft/6m J1772 Cable & NEMA Plug - EVSE 7.68kW Compatible with All SAE J1772 Electric Vehicles: Charging Stations - FREE DELIVERY possible on eligible purchasesEV Edison is a developer and a provider of high-power electric vehicle charging solutions . ... mobile charging fast charging stations can be deployed to provide charging infrastructure on demand. It's the same number of watts at 120V and 240V, but it's a lower percentage of the total watts available at 240V. So 240V will spend less time charging, and hence less watt-hours conditioning the battery during the charge. At least, I think that's how it'll work.
